Seven pound pork butt on Traeger

Saw pork butts on sale at Aldi last night so bought a 7.5 pounder and decided to smoke it today.  I set the Traeger for 225 degrees and seasoned the butt with The Squeal Pork Rub and put it on the smoker around 7:30 AM.

An hour into the cook.
The pork butt hit 200 degrees at 2:40.  It took a bit over seven hours to get to temperature.  I removed it from the smoker and wrapped it in tin foil.

Pork butt after seven hours
After an hour wrapped in foil, here is what it looked like:

I put on my rubber gloves and pulled it.  It pulled apart very easily.  Here's the finished product:

I put 2/3 of the meat in a ziplock bag and put it in the freezer to preserve it.  I had a couple sandwiches and put the leftovers in the fridge to eat in the next couple of days.  It turned out great!
